I read that they have some security camera video that they are looking at.

I am really sick of the divisiveness and can't wait for this election to be over. Thursday is the first day of early voting and I'll be going then.

When I was a kid - and I'm really sorry I did this kind of stuff - I hung with a bunch of guys who were out to make a name for themselves and created all kinds of havoc like this. There was really no reason for it other than to cause trouble. I don't know all the facts, but I can't help but think it may be what's happened here. But whoever did it, it's reprehensible.

Thank you. My thoughts precisely.

I tend to enjoy reading and responding to your posts. In general, I think I am also somewhat different on my political ideas, but I am pretty middle, or maybe left of middle (it really depends on who I'm sitting next to, I enjoy defending both sides, and have pretty spirited debates with my liberal friends too).

As to your question, I "think" (have not re-read this entire post) that you have not been attacked once for how you see things, only 'attacked' for your response to others.

Several people in this discussion feel it's "obviously" orchestrated by the Dems. Nobody has caught flack for that opinion, they have heard opposing views. I still believe, from casual observation, that the prevailing belief on this discussion is that neither party condoned or orchestrated this. It might, or might not been a fringe member of either, and the motives could have been anything. They may have done it "in the name of" some organization or cause, but my GUESS is that neither Hillary, nor Donald, nor their campaigns were tied into this in any way. For everyone's sake, I hope I not proven wrong, but I do realize that anything is possible.

Sorry for the pre-coffee ramble (I'm in Colorado right now, so it's pre-dawn), just trying to help you feel better that nobody is attacking you. People can disagree without casting further judgement. (FYI, my GF/Partner and I are on polar opposites of the political spectrum. We argue about it all the time. I love her unconditionally, and never question her compassion, even though I do question the compassion of the party she supports. She has her reasons, I have mine, and we respect that.

It's a small town in North Carolina.

The likely culprit is Ernest T. Bass.

(...the character from Mayberry)

It was a molotov cocktail, not a rock! (Ask me again and I'll tell you the same)

Maybe lovebrentwood thought Ernest T chucked one of Otis's liquor bottles through the window.
