Hi all,
Any advice on the best places to find single stall or family restrooms on the road in NC? Asking for a mom traveling with a son with disabilities who is too old to go into a multi-stall women's restroom with her. She is perfectly comfortable accompanying him into a single stall restroom for either gender.

Current trip is from Raleigh to Charlotte but general suggestions are welcome. State rest areas are an option, and Subway restaurants seem to be often "single stall" in the area, but was wondering if anyone else had any tricks when out and about with kids or disabled opposite-gender family members.

Target was in the news a lot because of the HB2 controversy and
their statement about their position...

During all that I read that they planned to provide
single stall restrooms for disabled, families or anyone feeling that
would work best for them.

I don't know exactly how many locations have these
already available but it might be worth a check...

PS..Just found this article. It says Target already has Single stall
restrooms in 1,400 out of its 1,800 stores and plans to add them to
the others...

I was going to suggest Target. They usually have single stall restrooms near the pharmacies.

Just noticed this a couple weeks ago, can't believe I never saw that before. They also have family restrooms near the regular restrooms.

Target adding single-stall bathrooms at all stores
Yes, target has family restrooms in the majority of their stores. Newer Walmart neighborhood stores have them too.
