I've been reading through lots of reviews.
I have pretty long hair for a guy. Most places seem to cater to fades, and shorter hair.

I have honestly never had a haircut I was really happy with. Looking to change that.

Does anybody have any recommendations for a place in the Triangle (I'm in Cary) that can do a good job with longer hair?

Thanks so much!

How long? If you're talking shoulder length or something, I'd hit a salon.

Sorry, should have clarified. No, not shoulder length, just not your typical "buzzed" on the sides

I have been going to see Jamal at A1 Salon, next to Jersey Mike's at Preston Corners.
My hair isn't long, but I wanted someone who understood that I didn't want the sides buzzed off.
He understands....

He is a colorful feller, too...

My boys go here Mister Bryons of Cary and love it. He fixed a really bad hair cut my son had elsewhere and we've been going there ever since. You can make appointments online so it's nice and convenient. My one son keeps his hair in a longer style. You just tell him what you want or show him in a picture and he can do it.

I'm not certain of the name of the place but my hair stylist (upscale, higher end salon) as well as one of the other male stylists there go to a Dominican barber in Cary. Their hair always looks fantastic.....albeit a tad trendy.

FWIW, my stylist is straight.

A go to A Better Man's Barbershop in Cary, it's right next to World of Beer. They do a fantastic job. Plus free beer on tap.

The beer may be free. But the haircut is $25.
