I can not recommend one in the area but can give a couple of tips. The CMS webstite posts survey results for all nursing home. Every nursing home that accepts Medicare and Medicaid (which is basically all of them) is inspected annually and when there are complains. The findings are on the CMS website.

Any facilities you are considering, make sure you visit and take a tour. How do the resident's look? Does the facility smell clean? Are there activities going on? Visit on a weekend when much of the administrative staff is off duty.
My last suggestion is that when you do pick a nursing home, particularly for a person with memory impairment, make sure that you can visit. Nothing replaces family involvement.
