If you think I miss some, thanks to let me know, I will stop everything I am doing and go get them.

Since it's the vapor that is flammable, someone needs to check on xxrb1 to make sure the house hasn't exploded yet (or I guess we just watch the news to see if anyone has blown up recently). :-)

What to do

Friends, will travelling on i-40 be an issue w.r.t gas availability? Do you think it is very risky to just hope for the best and leave tomorrow Wednesday evening.

Please share your thoughts.
I live in WNC. I wouldn't hope to get gas easily in the area to get back. Since it has to be trucked up the mountain we always get hit worse then others. Spruce pine still didn't have premium 3weeks after stuff returned to normal for the rest of the state last time.

Last time the pipeline was down, my wife and kids needed to go to Eastern Virginia. I advised them against it. My wife called two stations close to where they were staying and asked about gas supply and they had no clue what she was talking about. They went, and had absolutely zero issues getting fuel. There was no "shortage" or panic there. Three hour drive away.

The BP at Falconbridge in Chapel Hill is already out of gas. The nearby Shell had a pretty good line. My guess is they will be out of gas tonight.

I'll come get you in my Prius. If I run out of gas, I can finish the trip on electric (until the battery runs down).

But hey, Bo, you should go out tomorrow and Early Vote, plus fill up your tank! Then you won't have to worry about it anymore.

I put a plastic bag on top with a candle close to, so during the night I can see that my tube is not leaking. Do you think I will mess up something with my candle ????
