Sorry if this has been asked before, but my tablet won't let me search.
My son's GF doesn't have health insurance, but she desperately needs to see a doctor. Minute Clinic quoted $99. Seems like there's one in Apex that sees patients without insurance for a reasonable price. Any recommendations?

I don't have any recommendations but $99 seems pretty reasonable to me. Sometimes you don't get it that cheap even with insurance.
Seems pretty cheap for me - there are some doctors such as Fischer Clinic in downtown Raleigh that sees patients without an insurance but it's on a subscription basis ($40/month + $30/visit - think there's a joining fee) so $99 is pretty cheap looking at it.
I know some Drs will give a discount when you're NOT on insurance, and will pay cash (cc), since it saves them and their office a financially-significant amount of paperwork manhours.
Just be careful of those minute clinics. When we first moved here and I hadn't found a PCP yet, I got strep and went to the Minute Clinic. I was pretty miserable and knew it was strep, but their "fast" strep test was negative, and I had to wait days for the real strep test to come back. They refused to prescribe me anything until they got the results of the test. I was forced to find a PCP and they prescribed me an antibiotic on the spot which had me better in 2 days.
Not that Minute Clinic isn't good for some things, but in that situation it was a huge waste of time and money.
Actually any doctor or office will see a patient without insurance if they are willing to pay the cost of the visit upfront. They are considered self-pay and yes, they usually are offered a cash-pay (can be credit card or check) discount. Minute Clinics are often staffed by nurse practitioners or physician assistants. Nothing against them and it's great for a well-check or physical or something very straight-forward but if she is looking for a doctor, will not find one at the Minute Clinic. Here is another possibility to get in quickly and an estimate for self-pay (honestly, these prices are probably pretty close to what any doctor's office will charge): https://www.avancecare.com/for-patie...doctor-visits/
Practices like Access Healthcare and the Fischer Clinic listed above are direct primary care practices that do have that monthly membership fee. If she has a chronic issue that requires several follow-up visits and/or labwork, then it might be a good model to look into.
