I am not sure about the specific toads in question, but the ones at my home are not poisonous to dogs. I am not sure of the color since I am red/green color deficient so they look grey

They also get ran over by cars all the time, they aren't exactly the smartest tool in the shed.

Actually heard this on the radio the other day. Knew all the lyrics when the song first came out. Probably still do..
