Still no indication of where the stadium would be located.
I'm guessing (from the article) that they have 3 proposals on the table and MLS will give some feedback about what their preferred option would be if they were to get a franchise.
I thought they were going to release it to the public. I guess we will have to play the waiting game now, with no date set to make a decision or give any kind of feedback.
I imagine the lack of concrete stadium plans will hurt the Raleigh bid. I'm in the camp who thinks the stadium needs to downtown, and expanding Wake Med won't get Raleigh the bid. The only reason I say that is it better fits the criteria laid out by MLS, and IMO the competition is stiff enough that a suburban soccer stadium is unlikely to carry the day. Regardless of whether Raleigh wins the bid, lets hope Charlotte doesn't, as I don't think MLS is likely to place two teams in NC this close together when future expansion comes around.

Renderings were included w/ the bid I believe. Along with other pertinent information that we aren't privy to at this moment. It's in the Business Journal blurb.
It's going to be really tough competition for a spot. As I'd 100% season tickets, I'm crossing my fingers.
I wish we have a little more info on all of the proposals. It's easy to submit a bid and show a rendering of a brand new stadium to the public without any concrete details of funding and/or feasibility. A lot of cities and/or ownership groups see this lucrative opportunity $$$ and rightfully think that it would be stupid not to throw their hat into the ring. However, them producing a realistic and feasible plan is something completely different.

IMO, the largest TV market between Atl and DC will be chosen. However, I believe Charlotte will drop out before anything is official. That means the Triangle will be the largest TV market between Atl/DC left standing when decision day comes.
