Thanks Vicki!

Oh, & I wanted to say something about the Cary vs. Apex thing. We pay Town of Cary taxes, we have Town of Cary trash/water/sewer. We are town of Cary. We just have an Apex mailing address. The Town can annex whatever, but they have no control over the United States Postal Service and when they update their zipcodes.

Have any of the kids who currently live in The Park at West Lake been redistricted?? I'm sure it's a possibility in the future as that area continues to grow, but I was wondering if anyone has had that experience yet and if so, what school did they get moved to???

Our neighborhood was zoned for Middle Creek Elementary. It was a traditional calendar school. Last year they changed Middle Creek to a year round school & changed our base school to West Lake Elementary. There was some redistricting for the upcoming 08-09 school year, but it didn't affect our neighborhood. I'd hope since we have 4 schools practically in our neighborhood that they wouldn't switch us to somewhere else, but who knows.

I think it would be helpful to point out that Middle Creek Elementary is less than 1/2 mile outside the Park at West Lake entrance and West Lake Elementary is literally part of the neighborhood parcel.
