I don't post often...but I wanted to thank all the contributors on this forum for all your information and opinions about the Raleigh area. After 2 years of planning we are finally making our move to Wake Forest! We close on our house in 1 month in Heritage! We can't wait to make our move from Long island....

Thanks for all the information, it really helped us out with many aspects of our relocation and i love reading all the posts and opinions.

We hope you have room for 3 more italian yankees!

Congratulations on the move! And Welcome to NC!!!

Can you bring some snow with you as you make your way down South? NC has so much going for it, but just one or two real snow days would be great!!!!

Good luck! Heritage is a nice place. Hopefully you will bring some "April Showers" with you.

Welcome, you'll love it. As a fellow transplanted Long Islander (saw your post elsewhere) I can state with great certainty you'll realize most of the benefits you're expecting.

Plenty of room for them. ;-) I have some great Italian clients and some right here on this forum. Just bring your Italian food with you and I'll be a happy camper right Maria ;-) Waiting for that great Lasagna again (hint hint)

Welcome to the area and enjoy

Debbie

Good luck to you on this move. My family has also decided on the move from L.I. to Heritage after a year of going back and forth mentally. We will join you in May. I'm really looking forward to getting to know the area and the people.
PS. I make a great Eggplant Parmigian...
