Zitzky, and others. We have a master bathroom with one of the vanities on an outside wall. House was completed in 2013.

Last winter, the pipes froze on that vanity. No break or permanent damage, but we'll be dripping that sink this weekend.

And cursing ourselves for not getting a fence for the backyard when we have to walk the damn dog.

Do you mean just turn off the outside faucet, or turn off a cutoff valve that controls that faucet? I don't know if we have individual cut off valves for the outside faucets. Hmmm.

I would just turn that outside faucet off but definitely disconnect the garden hose.

Your 2003 house was built with freezeproof faucets.

Really though, if we get to 0° for several hours, it is a "whatever works" scenario.

We drip our MBR faucets. Same reason.

I think a lot of folks are going to be disappointed in the lack of snow this system brings. I think we will get several hours of rain, that freezes overnight.....and not much else.

I wish all precipitation would dodge us!

So drip hot and cold right? Upstairs and downstairs?

Water heater is in the garage, exterior wall. I could leave the laundry door open a crack. Could get expensive.

I assume my outside faucets are freezeproof. Should I wrap them as well as a backup plan?
