My wife and I are moving to the Triangle in the next few months with my wife starting work in the RTP. I'm afraid that we may be looking for a needle in a haystack, but I appreciate your help.
What we're looking for is:
* Cat friendly
* 2 bedroom
* 1000sq feet or more
* Under $800/month
* Relatively safe, clean and well kept
Does anyone have any ideas / suggestions?
We originally thought that Madison at Treybrook in Morrisville and Landmark in Raleigh but now we're not so sure. Opinions on those complexes are welcome as well.
Thanks so much!

Landmark - NO NO NO - awful for years. I know someone who transferred to maintenance there who confirmed my opinion of the property.
Try mine, Northridge Crossings. Very spacious 2BR $830 + $20 for kitty.
We love cats and ours are very welcome here.
Great service. Friendly office.
In fact, you might get our 2BR since we're changing to a 1 BR soon.
Check it out. meow!
Whoops: My cat Mayble says to warn your cat that there are no mice to catch in the apts, maybe an infrequent cricket.
Neighbor has 2 rat terriers but none caught here yet.

We have a 2 bed 2 bath in Cary, just under 1200 sq feet that is cat friendly and under $800 a month. PM me if you want the name - Not sure if we are allowed to post names here!

I 2nd NOT living at Landmark. It made it to my list of places to check out when I was considering moving here, but once I saw it in person, I didn't even have to go inside to know I didn't want to live there. The area around it seems pretty nice, but the actual complex is very poorly maintained.

I moved to Brampton Moors in Cary a little over a month ago. This is an older community so the apartments are not as "fresh" as new constructions, but they are well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and also well maintained. The apartments sit on a small lake with a walking path around it. There's even a resident heron. The walk to Fred G. Bond Metro Park (Bond Lake) is less than a mile. The sub-division (Oxxford Hunt) is very quiet and safe.
The two bedroom apartments are 975 square feet and rent for $660/month. Pet fees are $250 for the first pet and $150 for the second. Monthly pet rent $10 per month, per pet.
If you don't mind the older construction, this is a wonderful place to live and a very affordable price.
