We were getting ready to put in an offer on a house being built when we learned the price had substantially increased from the original paperwork provided. Back to the drawing board!
I'm looking for feedback about Level Homes from those who have purchased or bought/sold Level properties. Quality of build? Ease/difficulty of working with them? They appear to be something between a local builder and a production builder.
Can you indicate which subdivision? Is it in Raleigh or Cary?
If you are looking at last few lots of Westhigh, the build quality is good. My $0.02 is it's not kid friendly neighborhood. There are no facilities (swim pool, play area, community center etc..) and yet very high HOA fees near to 3 digit figure.

Those are the ones we are looking at. Having a hard time with the lot size - feels a bit like a fish bowl - but liking everything else, especially location. No kids here, so we are okay with lack of pool and play area. Good point about high fees even without the facilities though.
The best determinate of a quality of build, and this includes all tract builders who have very varying reviews, is the construction manager. I would go to that community and ask people who have already built homes there about the construction manager and how he/she works. A very detailed-oriented construction manager will look after things and determine the quality of build, regardless of the reviews the builder has.
Wow, reaching close to 600k for a new 3000k home these days?

If you are referring to the one nearby the corner at the stormwater BMP, it appears that someone has put an offer last friday.
