Joyce Family Restaurant in Fuquay for traditional

Or

Try Blistered Pig in Apex for "Roasted Fried Chicken" which is Chicken cooked on the smoker, and then breaded and fried. It's pretty damn good!


If you are heading south on I-95, and want a full complient of Soul Food (including life-changing fried chicken), then stop in for lunch buffet at the Thunderbird Inn at US52 and I-95 interesection. Bring your Lipitor!

Dame's is good but there's often a long wait and it's not worth it for that. Beasley's probably has the best fried chicken in the area. For something a little unconventional, check out Soo Cafe for the best korean fried chicken in the area http://www.bizjournals.com/triangle/...-includes.html

Again, way off the radar but the best fried chick ever. He uses the pressure cooker method for hotter oil
