1. No bribes for companies to move here
2. Impact fees on development
1. No incentives to fortune 500 companies who are considering North Carolina and other states with incentives.
2. Tax the dickens out of developers and companies who want to step foot in North Carolina.

I've recently provided plenty facts and arguments that refute your overly broad generalizations and overly simplistic assertions about local growth. As long as the folks that are being brought here via corporate incentives are above to well above the median income, these folks will not only pay for themselves (and their infrastructure needs) with the taxes they generate, they should also help subsidize those below the median income.

Great thinking there.
I did not say "North Carolina". I said areas such as ours which need to add expensive infrastructure when large numbers of new residents are attracted without making the business and developers front the costs, instead of all taxpayers.

Over how many years will the money be collected? Way longer than increased tax revenues are needed to cover the immediate needs such as schools and transportation.
You must be kidding about subsidizing lower income residents. As in places like NYC, the moderate income people and their children will be pushed out as the heartless developers "gentrify" moderate income areas to make room for the incoming high income families.
Credit Suisse is already in RTP. But their business expansion - not in Raleigh but in the park itself, where many of the grateful employees will choose to live in Durham County, maybe even Chatham since it's not more than 15 minutes away, will surely please CapitalBlvd.

Great. At least this might not increase the load on WCPSS.
