Are there any used bookstores in Clayton. I love to read and my DH is complaining I spend too much on books. (he doesn't like to read )

Unfortunately, no. There are second hand stores that sell books and the library down there has a .10 table with a limited supply of books at any given time.

Default Libraries are your best bet....

I personally do not like to re-read a book after reading it, so I love to frequent the library and bring bags of books home...read them...then take them back and get more!!!! That way I don't clutter up the house with extra books lying around that I won't read again.

dont know of any in clayton...

sometimes you can find a decent book in thrift shops/goodwill
ed mcKays in Raleigh has a HUGE selection
on hillsbrough street in Raleigh there is a place, but I can't remember the name (maybe someone else will chime in!)

I like the Reader's Corner on Hillsborough Street.

That's the one, although the ones on the left of the door are $0.10 and to the right they are $0.25 each.

close enough to free!

that is the place I was thinking of. I used to work near there and would go once a month or so and raid the shelves out front. Lots of junky stuff, but found some keepers too!

Nice Price Books on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh is good...they also have locations in Durham & Carrboro. I hope that helps
