Unfortunately, no. There are second hand stores that sell books and the library down there has a .10 table with a limited supply of books at any given time.
I personally do not like to re-read a book after reading it, so I love to frequent the library and bring bags of books home...read them...then take them back and get more!!!! That way I don't clutter up the house with extra books lying around that I won't read again.
sometimes you can find a decent book in thrift shops/goodwill
ed mcKays in Raleigh has a HUGE selection
on hillsbrough street in Raleigh there is a place, but I can't remember the name (maybe someone else will chime in!)

I like the Reader's Corner on Hillsborough Street.
That's the one, although the ones on the left of the door are $0.10 and tothe right they are $0.25 each.
close enough to free!
that is the place I was thinking of. I used to work near there and would go once a month or so and raid the shelves out front. Lots of junky stuff, but found some keepers too!
Thanks everyone. I'd be lost without a good book on hand.
