Don't think the coach's political agenda should rob the players from a visit to the White House. Like Church and State, sports and State need to be separated ..... think ESPN, NCAA, ACC ... I want my elected political officials setting policy.

I didn't know Williams-Trump was a thing until you mentioned it. SI.com caught me up to speed with this interesting paragraph...

Quote:
Williams made waves at the ACC tournament in Brooklyn with a comment about Trump’s volatile habits on Twitter. “You know, our president tweets out more bull---- than anybody I’ve ever seen,” Williams said. His quote became the buzz of the day in New York and gave a window into Williams’s views on Trump. Those views appear to align with his team’s, as North Carolina forward Aaron Rohlman told Sports Illustrated that only about three of the 15 Tar Heels voted for Trump.
Regardless of anything political, Roy and his boys should enjoy the win as much as they want to.

Congratulations to Roy and the team.

As a fan of the school just up the road, our consolation is going 2-1 this season against the Heels.

That's good and fine...

I wouldn't suggest making a shirt boasting about that stat like another school a little further down the road did several years ago (about their football team).

Plus you know the players at the school up the road actually went to class unlike many of UNC's players over the years.

Congratulations to UNC. I am a transplant from Kentucky and am a Kentucky Wildcats fan. But I'm a college basketball fan at heart, and glad to see so many people happy in the area that I live in that are proud of their team.

To me, the Kentucky - UNC game in the Elite 8 was more of a final game than that mess we saw in the finals. The selection committee hates Kentucky and UNC. They favor Duke.

When it comes down to it, I'm glad I live in an area that loves college basketball!

You're the nicest and most rational Kentucky fan I've ever "met". Lol
