Hi

Need to have a Colonoscopy done which requires me to have an adult drive me to and from the doctor's office since I'll be out from the anesthesia and well basically I don't have any dependable adults in this area so was wondering if there's a possible chance that I can hire a nurse to drive me to and from the doctor's office which is located in Raleigh and I live in the Brier Creek area.

From what I've been told, I would need her/him to be around for about 2-4 hours at the most.

Haven't schedule it as of yet since I'll be on vacation starting next week and will be out of state but should be done sometime late April.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

You don't need a nurse. A CNA would be more appropriate for what you need. Hiring an actual nurse would cost a boatload for a day. P.m. me and I'll give you the name and number of a wonderful CNA Who helped me after a motorcycle accident.

Yeah, skatermum is right; I'm a nurse, and a day of work won't be cheap! Don't even think about finding one through an agency, it will cost even more. But at least with an agency, the employee has been vetted. Not 100% sure about a CNA being the right fit either, but whatever you feel comfortable with. If the CNA's skill level cripples them from knowing what to do if you were to get home and have any complications, there's always 911....
