Another vote for Sunni Skies. Great ice cream, service, and prices. There's also a great place for the kids to run around.

We went to Milk Lab recently, it’s in the Lowes plaza, at Cary Pkwy and Tryon. I believe the same guys had a shop at NCSU or something like that. It’s a “rolled” ice cream, Thai style allegedly. It’s expensive but ice cream was good. They also have bubble tea and other drinks.

Can you still walk in the student union at State for NC State ice cream. I guess you could always wait for the State Fair once a year.

That would be a good option for great ice cream then. I haven't gotten it on campus in years.

Two drive-through lanes open this afternoon. They brought the dishes to me: orange chocolate and orange pineapple Sunni Sky's Home Page

About a 15-min wait, as I was behind cars loaded with kids, and it was the warmest afternoon of the week.
They had about 4-5 folks taking orders and bringing the stuff to cars.

Cash or check only. (Best-tasting dairy all week.)

Best road trip in weeks!

Andia's in West Cary on Green Hope Church Road is a new favorite of mine. They're doing online ordering Wednesday nights with pickup the following weekend (check their facebook page)
