This is why I love the Raleigh area.
I am spoiled with all the amazing food here !!!
Sometimes I think I want to move to a small town but
I would miss our food too much..
I know it is off topic , but my new favorite find is
Salt and Lime Cabo Grill Restaurant on Falls of the Neuse
near Spring Forest . Amazing mexican with a baja influence
If I may add on, what are your suggestions for good Chinese in South Durham. I've been going to more of the quick hibachi places but miss good ole American style Chinese.
C&T is great if looking for more authentic Szechuan style Chinese.
Agreed. I did not mention it because the OP indicated they were looking for Cantonese (Americanized) Chinese food (no insult intended - I love lo mein, shrimp with lobster sauce, and chicken chow mein and a few other Cantonese dishes.)

I was guessing it is "americanized" but I really don't know the difference.
I think I like it all.

I would not equate Cantonese with Americanized.
A lot of Americanized Chinese is also Hunan or Sichuan.
BTW have not yet been to C&T but a Chinese friend goes often, which is kind of testimony of a decent place.
From the feedback here the next place we try with be Panda Garden, will report back.
