My husband and I are bringing our two year old son home from Haiti next week. We just completed our adoption. We have found a physician but I'm also looking for a good children's dentist. We live in Morrisville. Any recommendations?

There may be closer options for you in Morrisville, but we've been very happy with Southpoint Pediatric Dentistry. It's right off I-40 exit 276.

We love Midtown Pediatric Dentist in Raleigh but it's kind of far from you. I bet there's something closer but I can't say enough good things about this one!

We've also been happy with the service and prices at Southpoint Pediatric. They are in a new building so it's a bit sketch to find on google maps. Maybe that's fixed now.

When we had a bad experience at a pediatric dentist in North Raleigh, I started looking around for other options. It came down to Southpoint Pediatric and Durham Pediatric, both within a mile of each other. Durham Pediatric was the first one we visited and they made such a great impression that we never tried the other, but I'm sure it is great as well.

We drive from NW Raleigh and it's worth it. Both Dr John and Dr Felicia are fantastic to our kids, especially our 6-year old son who had to have a couple of bad teeth pulled early.

I can not help you in your search for a pediatric dentist, unless you need one in a Dallas suburb. But CONGRATULATIONS on your growing family! As an adoptee, I love to hear adoption stories!

Thanks! I will definitely check out Southpoint and Durham Peds. That's only about a 10-15 minute drive from us. Our son comes from an orphanage where they did not brush the kids teeth or give any oral care. He also does not speak any English, so he's kind of a special case. Thankfully his teeth look good now, and we tried to brush them daily while on our visits to Haiti.

Cary Pediatric Dentistry at Waverly Place is wonderful! My 3 kids went there for a span of about 16 years. The office is decorated in a jungle theme, pretty over the top from the moment you walk in, with individual tv screens/movies at each chair. The staff has always been great with the kids. I'm not kidding...I almost cried when my youngest "graduated" from their care. I credit them completely with developing my kids' good attitude toward dental hygiene.
