Although, stopping beer sales wouldn't faze me a bit. I'm not a tee totaller, either.

The $5.00 beers on cheap tix nights led to groups of people with no interest in the game who got up and down multiple times during play to fetch beer.
Wife and friends and I missed seeing 3 goals in two games in a row last month, because beer fans had no consideration for hockey fans, and wouldn't stay in their seats.
I would just as soon have 13,000 hockey fans at the games, as 7,000 fans and 7,000 beer drinkers.

Tuesday night, I did have the folks behind us spill a 16 oz. beer that ran out under my feet, and got my friends bag on the floor wet.
Not rowdy. But sloppy. And when they mopped it up, the stale beer stink coming out of the mop did not enhance my "Fan Experience."

I actually suggested to Tom Dundon that they designate a couple of Family Sections, with no beer allowed.
I think it would be a go.

And, another thing...
No one should be able to enter the stairs to their seats with less than a minute to go in any period.
The ones who run out with 3 minutes left to beat the lines, should wait for period end to re-enter. I hate missing goals when they are coming down the stairs leisurely carrying two beers and a box of food
.
THIS is so annoying! Where is the hockey etiquette? I've noticed there isn't a lot of that at Canes games

It's not just sports. It's ANYTHING with seating. Shows, concerts, etc. And if the venue sells alcohol, I'm always experiencing the person who has to make a drink run every 10 minutes. Up and down the aisles, beers in both hands, sloshing it everywhere, every 10 minutes.

Folks were making their third beer run during action, two rows in front of us.
Our friend on the aisle seat refused to move to let them past, and told them to sit down.

Good man that he is.
Idiots just stood there.
And, I bellowed out, "SIT DOWN!! SIT DOWN!! THERE'S A HOCKEY GAME!! THERE'S A HOCKEY GAME!! SIT DOWN. "

I felt really great about it.

We were at DPAC for Diana Krall. Great show.
Watching beer runs during the concert. Pathetic.

I was at a show at the outdoor pavilion in Charlotte last summer. Watched the group of 4 in front if us down cups of wine every 5-10 minutes after which two of them would make another run. All. Night. For. 3. Hours. I bet they spend $400 on wine that night. No one behind them was able to watch an uninterrupted show.

They blew another 3rd period lead. Good thing they haven't been in a playoff spot for weeks now.

Empty net in a one goal game?
Definitely a low-success scenario.

Well they won today. Wish they could have done this "winning" thing more last month and last week.
