I am buying a house in Wake Forest that is on a .94 acre lot. There are some small patches of woods on the side but mostly lawn. What is the typical cost of a weekly lawn service to cut the grass and trim the edges?

You'll get estimates from $45-$60.

What are you willing to pay? Are you looking for general gardening as well?

I'm in North Raleigh, just off of Hwy 98. We're on 1.1 acres and use Grass Clips every other week for $45. They have been doing a great job and are totally worth the money. We pay for lawn care from March through November so it's really not too bad. It used to take me about two hours to do it myself and I earn more than $20 per hour, so the math is easy enough to support the finances.

An acre of almost all grass and $45 bucks is too much??

Seems like an absolute bargain.

Seeing these prices makes me think I should hire a service for my 1/4ish acre!
