Automotive Shop Rates in Raleigh Metro? (shops, relocating to, area)

I may be relocating to the area from the Twin Cities and was wondering if I could get some information from people about hourly rates the automotive repair shops charge. Thanks for any replies.

In franklin county (north of raleigh) its anywhere from $80-120+

i imagine raleigh would be on the higher end of that range, but not necessarily. probably depends on where you go and what needs to be done.

Thanks for the reply. I'm actually an auto tech. so this forum seemed to be a quicker way than making a bunch of long distance calls. If anyone else would like to add anything (like shops to stay away from etc.) please do so.
