Hi,

We just moved into Morrisville Elementary's base area. My daughter will finish out her school year at her current school (Highcroft) and then will transfer to Morrisville next year. Does anyone here have experience with Morrisville. All I know is test scores, and we all know how accurately (or inaccurately) they can portray a school.

Thanks!

I don't have kids, but I live in Morrisville Elementary base area and so my neighbors and friends send their kids there. They love the YR program.

I've not heard any complaints from anyone who goes there.

Well hi neighbor!

And thanks for the opinions, Jinxor and Lamishra. I've only heard good things, but have yet to meet anyone who actually has children there.

Now that the weather is nicer, I'm sure it's a great opportunity to meet the neighbors and ask their opinions on their kids education And, howdy, neighbor!

Morrisville Elementary is in close proximity to where I live, and I have done some substitute-teaching at the school. I have been impressed with what I have seen, and how I have been made to feel in the building -- one of the few places where I have been actually thanked for coming and helping them out. The kids are well-behaved, and I was pleased with what I saw in terms of lesson-planning, and the atmosphere in the school.

It's bright, and colorful, and I really enjoy going into the building on the mornings one of the teachers is playing the piano in the main hall. At holiday time, children are gathered around, singing. I liked the structure of the school day as well, and the behavior of the kids most everywhere I needed to take them -- cafeteria, art room, library.
