Can anyone give me the name of a community college that is not too far from morrisville? I'm just looking to take one basic class so I dont really care about the school's reputation or anything like that.

wake tech is the only one that comes to mind. they have several campus's around- might have one in Cary. You could call and ask. There is also JOhnston COmmunity College (in JOhnston county somewhere)- not sure if they have satellite campus's.

my mom works for the dept of community colleges, i can ask her if you need me to.

Wake Teahc teaches classes all over the county. They have a main campus off Hwy 401 but they also have a several satellite campuses (one in Cary) and they do teach a lot of their lower level, basic courses in the evenings at local high schools in Cary as well. It's a very good community college and I would recommend it to anyone.

Durham Tech is the closest community college to Morrisville, you take the Durham freeway up to exit 12 I think. It's a great college and you can check their website for all the information you need about the classes they offer, both credit courses as well as vocational, continuing education, self improvement...etc.
The fees are extremely reasonable if you are a NC resident, wich you qualify for when you've lived here 12 months.
Good luck.

Wake Tech and Durham Tech are the best bets. What kind of class are you looking at taking?
