I am from charlotte, nc and found this new community in Apex .Looks the features and price and schools are very good and any suggestions on price range ?
What is the impact of apartments being constructed in that area ?
Secondly, I agree with JKgourmet, that you can add at least 20% to the base prices shown. Pulte is selling townhomes in Bella Casa not too far away that are going in the $330k-$380k range, although some of the ones in the upper range are 2,700-2,800 sq. ft.
It's a great area though and pretty good equidistant location from DT Raleigh and the heart of RTP.
The location is very convenient to a great many things in Apex, and Western Wake County.
There is a reason it is called "540 Townes."
Choose your site wisely. I would personally be somewhat adverse to a location that would expose me to 24/7 traffic noise on NC540 and US64. Neither will get quieter, so I would want to be on the interior of the plat if at all possible.

Overlooking 540? I'll be interested to see how this does....all the teeth gnashing over 540 when it was being built by the people who already lived butt-up against it, now people voluntarily looking to do so. And 64 is right there as well.
Probably not gonna be assigned to Panther Creek HS once Green Level HS opens but that shouldn't really be a worry. Turner Creek and Salem are YR if that matters to you, although there's a movement afoot to make Salem traditional.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe to get on 64 East from that location you either have to cut through the nightmare which is Beaver Creek, or go down GLC to Jenks to 55 (or cut through Walden Creek if that's possible). There's an entrance right there for 64 West, but not East.
Maybe not an issue for some, but if I traveled 64 east frequently, that would annoy me. If i'm living on top of a highway (or two), I want to at least be able to get on easily.
By the way, this place wins the award for "worst named" complex. I mean why would they want to advertise that it sits right on 540?

Yes. You used to be able to go left onto 64 there but they closed it up. And it looks like it was always closed up which I find so bizarre!

Yep, there used to be an actual traffic light/intersection there where you could hang a left onto 64 West. They removed it about 5 years ago however as I believe the DOT is trying to eliminate direct access all along 64.
