Hi all,

I'm narrowing down to where I may want to relocate. How is the Macedonia Lake/Silver Lake/Crossroads area in South Cary/SouthWest Raleigh?

Appreciate the feedback!

It's a very convenient area.
No great community fabric, but a few groups of subdivisions of various types.
There is a bit of NCSU housing influence to be aware of, but also plenty of options that mean you won't have to be in student housing ghettoes, or similar.

You're looking to rent? You might also add the Lodge at Crossroads to your list, I have a couple of young co-workers that live there and like it.

I would second that. I moved some people in over there last summer. Nice apartment. The floor plan was great, made the place seem bigger than it was. Buildings, parking area were very clean.
Mike is right about it being a convenient location (being close to BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse is a major ++++).
