Does anyone know of a clean, decent, safe laundromat in or around SW Durham? I have some sleeping bags to wash and need to use one of those "Big Boy" machines.

The one off of Martin Luther King in the "Harris Teeter" shopping center... with the theater... is supposed to have the biggest machines around.

I went to the one on University across from the Wachovia and behind the old Kroger. It was safe, clean and the big washers and dryers are cheaper than most.

We're in SW Durham, so I used this one today. Wow! It was even better than I had hoped. It is very clean, spacious and staffed with people who help you get started. Also, you can purchase cards that you load, rather than be at the mercy of an empty change machine for an overwhelming supply of quarters. On the next occassion that I need to use an extra large washer, I'll be back!
