According to the N&O the Heroes and Icons Channel (previously broadcast on WRAL-02) is now on OTA 27.4 - but I can't find this channel when I scan with my antenna (granted, it's through my DISH receiver and the antenna, but I can scan for and pick up locals not carried by DISH).
Is anyone else in the area able to pick up the station? I think my antenna may just be too weak...
Thanks!!
It's on one of the towers out in Chatham County in the area WUNC broadcasts from. And it's low power. You might get it in Durham, would easily get it in Chapel Hill, but you'd have to aim the antenna the opposite direction of essentially every other Triangle channel.
Yes - I am bummed to longer pickup H&I with my antenna. I was really enjoying binge watching Strar Trek episodes!
I have seen all the episodes at one time or the other of the original series but I still enjoyed the 8 pm showings. I don't want to change my setup for 1 channel though.
I live in west Chapel Hill and I cannot pick it up. I used to get a strong signal until the "rescan' occurred a few weeks ago.
