Another cataract patient of Dr. Boehlke's here. I tried to make an appointment to see him for an unrelated matter in July and the earliest one I could get was six weeks out. When they suggested seeing the earliest available doctor it was four weeks out, so he's not the only one who is difficult to schedule.
His manner with me was more brisk and no nonsense than warm and nurturing but he was never impatient and was willing to answer all my questions. I do suggest doing some basic research on your own so you know what questions you want to ask because the presentation about what to expect during my cataract surgery was rather bare bones.
As far as office staff his lead technician gave me her card during our initial meeting and told me to email or call her at any time with any questions or concerns. The day of my surgery she stopped by to check in and see if I had any last minute questions and offered some words of comfort and reassurance.
