Most of the time the traffic is backed on I-40 up to 540 exit and than it is smooth ride from there I have travelled many time and I noticed that when I get of 540 it is a struggle but within 1/2 a mile traffic clears up and it is a smooth ride till I get off on Capital blvd going to Wake forest. some days i have reached Wake forest in 25 min from maimi Blvd(IBM). It is just my experience.

Ah, I see. The thing I keep forgetting to mention is that RTP is quite large, so one person's commute will depend a lot on where exactly they're headed. So many different things to consider!
