Hi all,
I'm in Raleigh this weekend, and the weather hasn't been nearly as bad as I had expected for August... I thought it would be much hotter and more humid (I've never been to North Carolina before, so I admit, I really wasn't sure what to expect.)
Is this typical for July and August in Raleigh? Or did I just happen to be here on a good weekend?
Our family reunion has been the second Saturday in August for almost 60 years. I remember a good number of them having really pleasant weather like this. This is business as usual in North Carolina
Today's forecast is 82 dF at 56 %RH, per NOAH website.
Historical High = 85, Record High = 101 (1943)
Historical Low = 65, Record Low =72 (1942)
We are a bit cooler than what could be expected.
