Greg Fischel is several years younger than Bill Leslie or David Crabtree. I expect Greg won't retire for a while... and WRAL management probably doesn't want any more of the core on-air talent to leave in 2018. As for Elizabeth Gardner, I've heard nothing but we've seen with Lynda Loveland that people make career choices like we all do.

Bill Leslie and Rick Dees were good friends, perhaps going to school together.
Rick Dees is from Greensboro, and when I lived in LA in the 90's he was always mentioning his mom and her take on things in NC contrasting to LA on KISS 102.7.
