Poster didn't say that WAS how RTP grew. Anyway, RTP got started 60+ years ago...things change. What worked then might not work now.
Very few true innovation centers in this country Silicon Valley, L.A.(entertainment not tech), New York, and Boston .... This area isn't going to outdo those spots. all the other hotspots like Austin or Nashville are following the path RTP did by bringing in existing companies for the most part

I know what you mean. They claim they will make a decision by the end of the year. I guess that's why their visit to Chicago was so interesting - evidently, it's the ONLY area they have visited twice.

Supposed they also did a Miami revisit as well back in September. Although, one would have to wonder if they did that south Florida revisit just to get some warmth and sun!
