I know the trend is toward more places like North Hills and fewer indoor malls like Crabtree and the indoor portion of Southpoint but when it’s unpleasent weather out I much prefer the indoor portion of Southpoint. If the weather is nice it’s fun to walk around the outside but if it’s gross outside (for me that would be cold and rainy, but for other folks that might be hot and humid) the indoor part is preferable. I wonder if we’ll see a bounce back to more indoor malls in the future?
I remember about 2 or 3 years ago me and cousins built a Mall on Minecraft and then we got into an arguement over who got to own Belk and like I couldn't own Belk I exploded it with TNT it was funny but then I got grounded from my tablet for an hour
LOL, I didn't know my son was posting on these boards. Is that you son?
I can flip a coin between Crabtree and Southpoint.
But, I have never been flooded at Crabtree.
"...perpetually..." seems to miss me when I am there.
And, access in and out is really pretty easy. Glenwood Avenue is just overused and really the worst way to go to Crabtree.
Yep, everyone wants to park on the front side of the mall. If I have to go there (inevitably to take my wife's iPhone or iPad in for repair again), then I zip right in & out of the rear parking deck. Level 2 is always empty, so it's a just a quick hop up or down the steps to the entrances at the food court or Panera.

Um, I read. I also know that online shopping (even for clothing) has grown exponentially over the last several years. Do you disagree that the mall model is falling out of fashion from what it was from the 1970's to early 2000's?

sure but you're over generalizing
Northgate is dying no one doubts
by all accounts southpoint and crabtree are booming or at least doing well
But since you dont go there you dont see it...
