I went there this morning. The entire drinks cooler was empty. The frozen section had signs up saying "not available for purchase". One employee told me there was a fire. She didn't go into detail. I saw no evidence of fire, but I did see several large fans, like you might use after a water leak. The rest of the store seems unaffected.

Probably a compressor for the coolers had a short and a small fire. It would smell pretty bad when it happened but assuming it was stopped early or the breaker trilled, it would dissipate quickly enough.

Found this website which if you search by date shows every fire call ran by the city that day. It appears these are just fire calls so don't think you'll be able to find out why the ambulance came to a neighbor's house. Pretty sure that's a privacy violation. But, anyway, didn't see any fire calls on Wake Forest rd yesterday.

Here is the fire report...overheated cooling equipment activated a sprinkler head and started smoking. No actual fire it appears.
