Hi everyone,

My husband and I are thinking about moving to Raleigh area from Northern NJ. We have both lived in NNJ all our lives, but there is a job opportunity for my husband in NC. I am trying to gather some information about the surrounding cities/ towns. Can you recommend some of the "best" for a young family with 2 active dogs. We would be selling our house up here and buying a house. I am looking for a good size house (4 br) with at least .50 acre of land.

Also if you can give me any information on the school systems, and where I can start to look for job opportunites for myself (Graduated with a B.A. in Psychology).

Thanks for all of your help.

I would probably suggest Cary in that area!

Frankly, the entire Triangle is extremely family-friendly. I think you could find a house that meets your needs in any town here. Of course, price can vary considerably.

Do you have a budget in mind? A preference on age of the house?

My thoughts exactly. I would be hard pressed to name a city or town in the traingle that is not geared towards families.

Price point and commute to you job will be the determining factor as to which community works best for you.
