Maybe just a poorly run business and business model (trying to survive on mostly M-F lunch business from nearby RTP).

Not surprising. Went there frequently to try and be healthy (lol), and because kids always ate free.

A place like that should be successful and be making a killing on the lunch crowd near RTP. But at least toward the end it was just horribly run by high school kids with seemingly no management.

We liked their food and picked up something there maybe once a month. My wife would eat lunch there occasionally as she works in RTP and that would be a good place to meet someone and get somewhat healthier food. Too bad, but i can see how their service wasn’t the best and it might turn people off.

I've tried this place, but the best one for a made to order expensive salad place is Chop't. They have one in Raleigh in Cameron Village and a new one opened in Chapel Hill.

Chop't only had restaurants in NY, DC and maybe Boston? They picked NC for their expansion state.

They recently opened on Falls of Neuse Road.

I work at RTP and used them for catering meetings on a regular basis. Sad to see them go.

Their corporate website says that the Morrisville location is "Relocating - stay tuned".

I thought that their quality had gone downhill, and the salads seemed pretty small for the price. I saw something that the equipment had been sold off, so I'm not sure about the whole relocation thing. Chopt is really good - wish there was one closer!
