There is a small new neighborhood being built off Strickland (but close to the intersection of creedmoor) with houses in the 600-750k range. The road is Ashton Garden Way. Not sure what the neighborhood is called.

There isn't a lot of new construction in your price range near I-540 and Creedmoor Road. There does seem to be one builder who is developing some neighborhoods in that range (Stanley Martin Homes), but looking at the listings the company looks to be a tract builder. I'm not sure I'd want to spend $600K on tract home, but to keep the price in your range you may need to look into resales.

This is an area that's already largely built-out over the last 20 years. Most custom homes around there are going to be over budget. You may consider a 2-6 year old home that's in great condition.

If you're trying to stay under $700K, then I'd lean towards Club Drive, off Strickland and Creedmoor. It's custom built, but they are small lots. Could be tough to be under $720K.

If you're trying to stay at $650K or less, then I'd look at Stonehenge Manor. Royal Oaks is a local builder, but they're definitely more mass-produced (RO just sold out to a national company end of 2017).

No matter what, you'll benefit from having a Realtor help you.

That is the most grossly overpriced neighborhood I have ever seen. They are trying to sell homes $200 sq ft and above.

Stonehenge Manors starts in the low $500's and goes to $800ish. Most homes are in the $600's there. It's Ray Rd and Howard so very close to Creedmoor. There are Ranch homes called Manors at Old Lead Mine also in the area. Quality of the home is okay and not as nice as Stonehenge Manors. Royal Oaks builds a very nice home and allows a lot of customization.

There's a small new subdivision off Old Creedmoor Rd (540/Creedmoor) called Bailey's Hill starting from $660k+.. it's a very nice area and less than a mile to 540.

We live in the subdivision a little further north up by Old Creedmoor Rd and Norwood Rd and love the area. Being able to commute to RTP via leesville and also being so close to 540 is extremely convienient.

A little further east than you’re thinking but you really can’t beat falls river or bedford for the price and family atmosphere. Very close 540 but not brand new.

He said new construction and $600k. Most homes in Bedford are priced well below that and probably not what he's looking for. If you said River Run that would be a better fit but still not close to Creedmoor.
