C'est si Bon sounds perfectly wonderful, but spendy. Really more of a corporate-sponsered evening than something three couples with kids could afford.

Chapel Hill Cooking School looks good as well.

Will check them both out.

My problem is that I'm thinking around $50/hour for 3 hours of cooking and an hour of prep. We'll do the shopping and clean up.

Everyone I've research is charging more than double that.

$600+ for an evening of cooking and fun is out of our price range.

Capri Flavors in Morrisville does cooking classes but they are done at their store. An option if you are open to going there.

I suspect that is too low. For example, an hour of private golf or tennis lessons cost $50/hr so I would think a group lesson involving 6 people would cost more.
