Please share your experiences. I am recently (like yesterday) in the market for an outdoor shed and was just beginning the search.

They have an app that automatically matches grocery store prices so the "in store" price match is dead.
They used to, maybe that policy changed recently.

We got our shed at a steep discount from Home Depot because it was one that they discontinued.
It's been awhile but I think it was about 40% off.
I would ask places with sheds about clearance, discontinued and discounted sheds.

Sometimes, yes. This is not typical, but a true story. Happened to me, last night.

A well-known grocery chain advertised boneless ribeye steak for $6.99/lb. At the store there were plenty of steaks on display but no ribeyes. I selected a package of strip steaks priced at $11.99/lb. Went to the Customer Service desk and asked them to reprice the package at $6.99, as a substitute. The manager was called... he hemmed and hawed... and then (to my surprise) repriced the strip steaks to zero! Yes, take it at no charge!!

.

I do not even have the time to haggle like that.

LOL. They priced them zero so you’d go away.

I was at the WF farmers market or craft fair or something one year where someone was selling jam for $6. I asked if they would do two for $10 thinking it was extremely reasonsible. You would've thought I killed her first born. I had no idea people would actually get offended, I thought it was common practice to bundle. We did get them for $10, when my wife went back the next week the lady ignored her and would not even talk to her. I dunno, it was just really weird.
