We saw a beautiful house in Cameron pond. Is it worth to buy in that community?

Not a fan. Huge, rusty high-tension wires over the pool area and viewable from most of the homes and too close to 540.

There were some nice custom builders in that neighborhood from what i remember, so not surprised you found a home there that you found beautiful. Chances are you can find a similar home from that builder in a nearby neighgboord if you have enough time to wait for it to hit the market. Agree with RedZin about the negatives of the neighborhood.

And, watch for the cameras in any property you walk through!

Cameron Pond is not bad. I would purchase on the opposite side from 540. Or I would have to get a great deal if it is somewhat close to 540 and can hear the traffic. Cameron Pond has some decent houses - although I was not impressed by Terramor.

Terramor and those JW houses that went in after the market "crash" and downturn following the lawsuit over there re: 540 were not up to par with the original set of custom builders.

If the OP just saw that Wardson home for sale (I'm like 99% sure it is a Wardson) it was built after the downturn, so likely not as nice as the Wardson stuff pre-downturn, but still a nice house. I think I was in it at one point when it was new.

That said, it's very close to 540, as road noise goes.

Do you know who has built the couple new homes on the dead end portion of Mercer Grant? They look like the homes in the northern portion of the neighborhood.

I know some of those in the loop are Terramor and some are JW. I'm sure there are others mixed in, depending on when they were built.

Type the street number and street name here and you will know the builder, the sqft, the price it sold for and any resale since:

The only house for sale there is on Mercer Grant and Ange Construction built it.

The Wardson one I was thinking of is on Parkman Grant, but it went under contract quickly.

The Ange one is further from the highway, and the rusty wires are not visible from the front or back windows of the house, so it might be more agreeable.
