Well, one of my trees burst yesterday and I cleaned a good coating from the glass table this morning early. It already has another film on it.
I did not vote on the pollen date because my hand was loaded. This is a 10 year old picture of a 2008 garden diary entry. We keep the diary every year. As you can see the pollen hits right between April1 and another year was April 3. I am also to report that it lasts almost a month. <sorry>

I've been here for 5 years. I expect the yellow plague around April 1 and I expect it to last until the end of the month.

On the other hand, a Facebook memory popped up for me over a week ago when I posted a photo with a ton of pollen. It wasn’t even going yet this year then.
No, it's not really very bad right now. This is mild. I think we may get off easy this year if it rains tomorrow.
I think it was on WRAL yesterday but I read that we're in week 1 of 3 which means (I think) that it'll peak sometime next week and taper off after that.
