You and Mr. Rabbitsong chose well.
"Uprising" by Muse was my second choice!

And it still sounds like something from long ago in a galaxy far far away.

Lots of good points made there. All bad choices.

Yeah, I am not too excited, that with 1500 submissions, these 8 are the picks.

LOL and I will sit for 40 games and more than 100 goals and hear some slop picked by "fans" who buy <2-3 tickets a year...

Somebody's optimistic about this season

As for the picks themselves, I'm just glad we're not using something another team already has and, that generally speaking, the League's moved away from the old days of every team using the same 2 or 3 songs.

108 goals last year.
Yeah. I'm optimistic that we will be over 100.

One might say ESPN has had a thing against the Canes ever since they left Hartford. But setting that aside, last week ESPN published a list of the top 300 fantasy players for 2018-19. It's a dose of reality for Canes fans. Carolina had 10 players on the list but only 2 in the top 100 and only 5 in the top 200.

The highest Cane was Aho at 56 overall and 9th best LW. Svechnikov was 74th overall and 12th best RW... pretty good for someone who's never played an NHL game.

Others: Hamilton, 102nd overall, 18th best D; Teravainen, 112th overall, 38th best C; Williams, 180th overall, 34th best RW; Staal, 213rd overall, 68th best C; Faulk, 224th overall, 51st best D; Ferland, 242nd overall, 44th best LW; Rask, 259th overall, 77th best C; Slavin, 268th overall, 67th best D.

One could argue that Rask and Faulk are ranked too high.

If you're wondering... ex-Canes Skinner was 154 and Eric Staal was 75.
