That was a crazy win. They did not play well at all but they still found a way to win. If you're going to be a playoff team you have to pull those wins out of your rear end some nights. Rare win in Minnesota too.
Lets see how they do tonight against the Thrashers, err, I mean Jets.
9 points in 10 games... it doesn't get much better than that! It looks like the Canes have some offense and the defense is stopping the opposition from getting a lot of shots off.... unfortunately too many of the shots the opposition is making is still trickling into the net.
Obviously, the Canes won't continue on a 9 points every 5 game pace... but there's some real promise that this team will be able to scratch and claw into a playoff bid. Hopefully when Darling comes back, he'll be able to pick up where he left off in the pre-season and he doesn't regress into the 2017-2018 version of himself (even though even THAT would be a slight improvement over the current duo sadly enough).
They played well, but the inability to score early hurt them late. Good game by the Jets goalie.

Just don't make this a habit again like under Peters (outshooting the other team and still losing in regulation)
We are really, really good at hitting the glove with our shots...
Sure would like to see more rebounds to work with.
