I have to keep reminding myself who Don Cherry is (or thinks he is). LOL
For what it's worth, I think these post-game celebrations are BRILLIANT. The organization knew they needed to get the fans engaged again, and this is the way to do it.
Now this kind of attention is something I can get behind. So much better than when Canadians would cry that it wasn't fair that Raleigh had a team but not Quebec City, or Hartford. Don't get me wrong they still do that but now they have something else to make their heads explode. Reminds me of our playoff runs when the team would beat Montreal and Toronto and Edmonton.

I will own a T-Shirt.
Someone on FB said the Canes should have a team-signed "Bunch Of Jerks" T-Shirt in the Foundation Auction.
Heckuva Idea.
I’m absolutely appalled that an NHL team would decide to have FUN while they’re WINNING. Who do they think they are!?!?
Let’s not forget, Don Cherry is famous for his flamboyant, “look at me” suits.
I have no problem with the Canes celebrating the way they do. It looks like they're having fun and the fans love it. It's not like they're doing it while the other team is still on the ice or on their bench. It's an after game celebration.
Don Cherry and his wardrobe have no business hurling insults at anyone else for having fun. As you said, Don Cherry thinks it's all about Don Cherry and his closet full of flamboyant blazers, shirts, and ties.

IMO, Don did us a solid this weekend.
In time, HE may think he poked the wrong redneck hockey team and fans....
