I'll take that over the result in Pittsburgh on Sunday anyday. Hopefully they bring it Thursday and we can get some help from Washington.

HMMmmm, I'd say Carolina did their job. Home ice is locked now against the Maple Leafs.

Not necessarily. Someone could do it for us. In 2005-06, the Canes tied for the 3rd-highest point total during the regular season. Fortunately for us, the Red Wings, the Sens, and the Stars all went down before we had to play them. We faced #15, #5, and #14 instead.
