The Fallons on Wake Forest closed last month. It had been in business at this location 10 years. Before that, it was in the shopping center at Falls of Neuse and Millbrook.

Fallons and several other local florist shops are owned by a group based in Atlanta. The owners of the Atlanta group sold the property earlier this month. The building was once a Lone Star Steakhouse.

Seems to me that at one time Fallons also had a store at Crabtree and a store near Six Forks and Strickland.

So is Fallon’s opening a new location or did they just do away with this one? I’ve enjoyed getting floral centerpieces from them over the years but going all the way near broughton May be the end of my business with them.

That people love some Americanized Chinese food in a casual atmosphere with no wait staff?

I may walk there, but I don't expect good food.
