I'm going to be in Morrisville VERY briefly on business next week, arriving at 7pm and flying out less than 24 hours later. I'm staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh-Durham Airport (1500 RDU Center Dr) and I'm not going to have a car, but I'll need dinner. Is there anything around the hotel? If not, I'll either pick something up at the airport on the way in, or order delivery. I'm just trying to make plans. I don't really have any preference, just some decent quality food to tide me over.

Thanks!

JB

I don't think there's anything really walkable from there - I could be wrong though. Eating at the airport may be your best bet.

Could always grab an Uber though. Babymoon Cafe is a decent italian restaurant, maybe 5-10 min from the hotel. Not the best italian in the world, but not bad.

The only thing that would be walkable is the Sheetz which is a convenience store but offers a decent menu of customizable fast food options. It's not glamorous, but if you want something quick, easy, cheap, and close, that's going to be your best option.

The hotel does have a restaurant, but it's fairly standard (usually overpriced) hotel fare.

I love Sheetz.

My kids love Sheetz, too. It's not bad for some road trip food. Could be a decent enough option for you. Or the airport food might be more convenient, but probably more expensive.

The hotel has its own restaurant open from 5-11. The SHEETZ isn’t very walkable. I’m surprised a Waffle House hasn’t popped up yet around there...

Ditto. There's no good food at the airport and the Sheetz isn't terribly walkable.

There are actually pretty good food options at RDU airport inside the terminal. You might be surprised.

As others said, nothing within walking distance there but a very short ride away (Harrison Ave exit off 40) are 4 decent restaurants: Yum Yum Thai, Dame’s, Bonefish, Ruckus. Maybe the hotel shuttle can take you there?

You can definitely find something. If you have any special preferences or dietary restrictions then we could suggest more specifically.
